摘要: 本文从填土断裂破坏的现象出发,介绍了断裂力学的基本概念。指出断裂力学的基本概念也同样地适用于填土。对在各种应力和试验条件下填土所产生断裂破坏的可能及其原因进行了讨论。

Abstract: According to the phenomena of the fracture of compacted soils, the fundamental concepts of fracture mechanics are introduced. It shows that these concepts can also be applied to the compacted soils. The possibilities and cause of the occurence of fracture of compacted soils under various stress and testing condition are pointed out and discussed.From the macroscopic point of view the reason why the fracture of compacted soils can be occured even in the absence of tensile stresses is explained.
