Abstract: This paper introduces a new type of driventube castinplace pile.Its construction equipment,construction process and bearing capacity were studied.The loadbearing characteristics of driventube castinplace pile has been analyzed based on insitu load test of twelve test piles on two sites.Analysis shows that the driventube castinplace piles is possessed of several advantages:no slurry contamination,no impact on surrounding environment,high bearing capacity,high efficiency,reliable quality and low cost,etc.So this pile style has great practical value and bright market prospect.
