  • One of the characteristics of rock fill is the breakage of its grains under the effects of forces.In this paper,the grain breakage laws and mechanical properties are analyzed comprehensively,and the relationships among breakage,dilatancy and breakage strength component are discussed,with test results of Three Gorge weathered granite rocksoil,and Moriyoshiyama andesite and basalt of Japan.
