Effects of Spacing of Vibro-Compaction Piles on Vibro-Deformation

The vibro-compaction method has been used extensively because it is very effective on liquefaction resistance. The main problem of this method is to choose the appropriate pile spacing. In the past, the vibro-deformation was either ignored or regarded as a fixed quantity. Based on the data of field experiment combined with an engineering case, the importance of vibro-deformation is verifed and the effect of pile spacing on vibro-deformation is discussed.
