Research on Expansive Rock Properties and Its Application to Engineering

This paper introduces the research on the mechanical properties of two kinds of expansive rocks by using the modified apparatuses for expansive test. According to test results combined with engineering cases, computational analyses are made for stress and displacement cauesd by water absorbtion expanding at expansive rock gallery.
