    • T he force e xert ed on the p ip e pile and cracks appear. T he integrity of the p ip e pile in different crack stat e s is tested using t he stress wave method , and then a c omparative analysis is made in this paper. The experimental results indicate that s tress wave method is a feasible approach to detect crack s in p ip e pile. Stress wave method can identify small cracks ( Width of 0.10 mm ) in the experiment . Engineering examples show that the stresswave method is effective on the d etection of c rack in p ip e pile.
