Surface settlement of deep foundation pits by excavation

Based on a great deal of monitored data of surface settlement for deep foundation pits,a new fitting curve of surface settlement according to the decentration distribution density function was presented,and the formula of surface settlement which might result in deformation of braced structures and settlement of foundation pits in the course of excavation was deduced.It might be helpful for the settlement prediction of practical projects on soft foundation pits.
