Practical calculation of bearing capacity on geobelt reinforced cushion

Load tests in site and large-scale triaxial tests were carried out for geobelt reinforced gravel cushion . Tests show that the strength and rigidity of reinforced cushion is obviously increased compared with non-reinforced cushion. By the analysis of test results and the practical application, a calculation formula for bearing-capacity of foundation on geobelt reinforced cushion is obtained.
