In this paper,cubical triaxial tests are carried out using Yangling unsaturated loess,and a method to determine the effective stress parameters is presented according to the new effective stress expression of unsaturated soil under 3D stress state. Moreover,the relationship curves of corresponding effective stresses and strain are calculated.
