Study on slope protection of Tongma levee against wave and seepage

Tongma dike is a demonstration segment of the protective dike in Anhui Province. By use of seepage calculation of two typical sections,controlling measures were analyzed. Given are the seepage field during flood of 1998 course and seepage field of designed section with soil blanket.According to calculated results of the wind and waves factor and seepage under the action of wave, the stable structural form of slope protection was analyzed. And some different types are compared. Stable form of slope protection with concrete slab was brought up.After engineering construction, it was tested by the wind and waves during flood in 1999, and the performance is good.
