    Analysis on the slope stability of expansive soils considering cracks and infiltration of rain

    • Slope stability of expansive soils depends upon rain infiltration. But it is very difficult for researchers to successfully simulate the practical cases at present. Analysis on the slope stability of expansive soils considering the effect of crack and rain infiltration has been investigated, in which the methods with and without cracks are compared. The results obtained in this paper show that rain infiltration and slope stability analysis, considering drying cracks, is more reasonable and practical.
