    • The status of pile soil interaction under large deflection is summarized and analyzed in this paper. Based on the horizontally layered isotropic and elastic half space soil model, the properties of pile soil interaction under large deflection are analyzed by the finite element-finite layer method and a practical program is worked out. At last, model tests of flexible piles are carried out, the results show that the theoretical values closed with those measured.
