On the basis of the method of displacement back analysis for identifying ground parameters, the research introduced the idea of optimization inversion and concepts of structure modulus and degree of structural defect, and established optimization inversion FE method for ground parameters in equivalent transversely isotropic slopes. The best inversion values can be searched quickly and reliably.
