Study of pile drivability with in-stiu measurement

More Information
  • Published Date: March 22, 2001
  • The results of in-situ measurement of pile driving in the construction of a power plant are presented. The blow count, maximum compression stress and energy of hammer varying with the depth are obtained during driving different types of pile.It is indicated that the measured pile drivability is different from that estimated. The results of the measurement are employed to decide the type and length of pile used in the project.
