A 14 7~15 2 m deep excavation in Hangzhou,with semi top down constructing method,is given as a case history.0 8m thick diaphragm is used as the retaining wall,and partial structural beams and slabs of the basement are designed to constitute the strut system.Some useful conclusions are obtained through the analyses of the measured results.
