Stress transmission mechanism and effective stress principle of unsaturated soil
The main research results of effective stress principle of unsaturated soil several decades are reviewed. Based on the study of stress transmission mechanism of unsaturated soil, the description of three main effective stresses and the determination of effective stress parameters are also pressented at any point in unsaturated soil body.
