  • This paper is trying to give a general review on the Chinese CPT which was developed in 1964 as a pioneer in the world. Numerous experiences and emperical formulae have been accumulated and endorsed by the National Standard, Ministerial and Municipal Codes of Practice.An overall state of the art is also reported briefly in comparison of Chinese CPT with foreign ones in order to look into the future development of CPT technology.
