A method to calculate the displacement of induction joint in the metro station

Now in the metro construction in Shanghai,it is effective to use induction joint to release the longitude stress and decrease differential settlement of the metro station.But there is no feasible method to calculate and design it.This paper suggests a semi theoretical method to calculate its displacement,based on the analysis of measured data from Yanggao road station of Shanghai metro lineⅡ.
