  • In the paper, based on viscoelastic foundation beam algorithm, making use of the measured settlement values of all monitoring points during the construction process of lock on soft foundation, viscoelastic parameters of foundation are inverted with direct inverse analysis method. Example shows that the inverse analysis method is stable and efficient. The whole process of excavation, construction and operation in a project can be simulated well with simulating computation in which the supplied parameters are used.
