Modeling analysis on the heat stability of embankment for the continuous permafrost district with rich moisture in Hua Shixia Valley

  • The heat stability of embankment on the continuous permafrost district of Chang Shitou Mountain in Hua Shixia Valley is modeled, and the critical heights of embankment are figured out by computers , respectively for asphalt-paved, concrete and gravel road surface, according to the natural geographic and geologic conditions of Hua Shixia Valley along the National Road 214. The modeled results are in good agreement with the field data on the Qinghai-Xizang Highway.
