Engineering investigation and foundation evaluation computer expert system

Based upon the analyses of the special needs demanded by geotechnical engineering and the characteristics required by engineering investigation, the engineering investigation and foundation evaluation computer expert system has been successfully developed. The work accomplished during the establishment of the system as well as the main feature of the system was introduced in this paper. It is believed that the development of the system would greatly expedite the technical progress in the field of foundation engineering.
