Regression analysis and 3 D fitting of initial stress

The stress in primary rock is one of the basic factors which decide surrounding stability and support pattern of underground engineering. A method of regression analysis and 3 D fitting of initial stress is explained in this paper, and the prinicple factors that affect the stress of primary rock are considered in this method. The computation of practical engineering example shows this method is highly accurate , and can be used widely in practical engineering.
