Analytical Solution for Displacements of Elasto Viscoplastic Ground Around Tunnel

More Information
  • Published Date: July 24, 1997
  • An analytical Solution for the displacements of elasto viscoplastic ground around the circular tunnel is presented, which can not only reflect the effects of dilatancy and plastic softening on displacements, but also take account of the creep property of the ground. The solution is verified by comparing the calculated displacements with the measured ones in the section of unsupported rock at Kielder experimental tunnel.
