  • The stratigraphic complexity in Wuhan is well-known, and the interbedded soil in the first terrace is often difficult or even risky to pit construction owing to the composition of different natures of the soil. Based on the reason analysis and treatment measures of large deformation of the foundation pit of a subject station of Wuhan Metro Line 6 in interbedded soil during the excavation, some problems that should be paid attention to in interbedded soil during the excavation are proposed, and it may provide certain reference for similar foundation pits.
