Application of many concentric ring supports with large diameter in super deep foundation pits

  • Support arrangement for super deep foundation pits is difficult and dangerous, and the excavated earth is hard to deliver. The ring support is more and more widely used because of its excellent construction space and reasonable mechanical characteristics. Multilayer ring supports with large diameter in a large-area deep foundation pit is introduced. The construction cost and project time are saved. The implementation and monitoring results show that the whole construction process achieves the goal of safety and controllability, and the engineering environment is protected. It may provide application reference for other similar projects.
